On July 26, Auxilium International School celebrated Grandparents Day with warmth and heartfelt appreciation. The event commenced with a welcoming speech by one of the learners, setting an uplifting tone for the day. This was followed by a communal prayer led by the learners, which fostered a sense of unity and gratitude among all attendees. The festivities began with a charming performance by Senior KG students, who sang a welcome song dedicated to the grandparents. Nursery learners, dressed in attire reminiscent of their grandparents, entertained the audience with a song celebrating their elders. The day featured an engaging icebreaker game where grandparents joyfully guessed old songs and participated in a quiz about classic celebrities, adding an element of nostalgia and fun. Junior KG students performed a touching song, and Grade 1 and Grade 2 students delivered a heartfelt dance tribute, acknowledging the unwavering love and support of their grandparents. Each grandparent received a handmade card from their grandchild, serving as a special token of appreciation. Several grandparents shared their reflections on the significance of the celebration, highlighting the joy it brought to their lives.The celebration included a lively freestyle dance session, where grandparents and grandchildren danced together, creating cherished memories. Learners proudly gave their grandparents a tour of their classrooms, showcasing their daily learning environment.
