FANCY DRESS COMPETITION

The perfect fusion of fun, creativity, expression and learning is a Fancy Dress Competition. AIPS was eager to see this come to life and so on 13th January 2023 we had our Fancy Dress Competition. The theme for the event was ‘My Ambition’.
The learners came dressed in colourful outfits apt to their ambition. The day began with all the learners assembling at the outdoor play area. Ms. Anam Arkate then invited and introduced our esteemed Chief Guest and Judge Tr. Dulcie Nair. Our Manager Sr. Magdeline Sequeira and our Principal Sr. Gloria Ferrao also graced the event with their presence. Sr. Sandra Fernandes our Supervisor then presented a sapling in gratitude to Tr. Dulcie.
It was then time for the performances in the order of Nursery, Junior K.G. and Senior K.G. Some learners came dressed as Air Force Pilots, some as Scientists, Doctors, Teachers, Air Hostess, Police Officers, Chefs, Army Officers, Hair Dressers, Soldiers, Businesswomen and Engineers. The learners had prepared a few lines as to why they wanted to achieve that particular goal. It was a pleasant sight to watch the learners perform their piece and present themselves on stage. We all were in awe of their confidence and their potential. After the performances it was time for our Chief Guest, Manager and Principal to share their thoughts. They all encouraged our learners and appreciated their efforts.
It was then time for the vote of thanks following which we all gathered for a group photograph. The Fancy Dress competition was another successful program giving us an insight at our learners’ ambition and admiration towards a career. It was a step towards our dream of building a world of Gender Equality – a Sustainable Development Goal.
