Traditional day is celebrated all over to highlight the diversified nature of our country India and so traditional day at AIPS was celebrated with great glee and enthusiasm on 24th June 2022. Our learners came all clad in their colourful outfits with great pomp and show. Their multicolour attire represented the diversity of India. While some wore the ‘dhoti and navari of Maharashtra’ the other was dressed in a ‘ghagra from Rajasthan’ some in ‘patiala - suit from Punjab’ some wearing ‘floral dresses from Goa’ and so on. All gathered together to display the various states of India and how each one is unique but yet all united. The celebrations began with the assembly where we all thanked Almighty for the beautiful day. The assembly was followed by our dear Principal Sr. Gloria encouraging each learner to come up on stage and sing a song pertaining to the outfit they were dressed in like ‘I am Aleesha I am from Kerala’ and so on. As it was their first time coming up on stage and performing, they all were a little nervous, however the conviction of our tiny tots surprised us all. Our little learners were all smiles as we captured these moments to cherish. We sang the National Anthem as the culmination to the traditional day program and the day for all began at a sweet and pleasant note.
